Nicole Chase Rondeau

Nicole Rondeau is a NYC-based performing artist. She currently has the pleasure of working with Sadi Mosko as a collaborator and dancer. She has previously served as a rehearsal assistant and guest artist with Colleen Thomas Dance, performed work by Billy Griffin, Lizz Picini, Mandie Rapoza, and Marjorie Folkman, and was a guest artist with Valetto Dance. Nicole is a teaching artist and assistant for Dance for Parkinson’s Disease, a program of the Mark Morris Dance Group. She, formerly, was an assistant teaching artist for The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center.

Originally from Gilbert, Arizona, Nicole is a graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University where she earned a dual BA in Biology and Dance with honors. Through the Barnard College Department of Dance, she had the privilege of training with and performing new works by Shannon Gillen, Loni Landon, Colleen Thomas, and Kevin Wynn in addition to performing repertory by Colleen Thomas and Mark Morris. Nicole has attended intensives and workshops including the Rockettes Summer Intensive (Invitational Week), Mark Morris Dance Group Summer Intensive, and B12 Contemporary Dance Festival.

Outside of the studio, Nicole spends her time as a graduate student in Dr. Kenneth Stapleford’s lab at New York University Grossman School of Medicine’s Microbiology Department. While she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in virology, she still makes it to the studio every week.
